High quality color copies and laminated versions for clinical or community use can also be ordered for a fee on the Partner to Decide website. The original paper version was developed and tested at Boston Medical Center in partnership with obstetricians, family medicine doctors, midwives, and nurse practitioners and with feedback from pregnant patients who used the tool and who were majority people of color with Medicaid insurance. Results of the initial development and testing are published in the peer-reviewed academic journal Birth.
